a little help, gives a lot of hope - and there are many ways an individual or an organisation can make a real difference. Sometimes, when we look at the need, the prospect seems daunting. But we carry on, remembering the simple adage that "because you can't do everything, it doesn't mean you should do nothing". Be A Volunteer if you think you would enjoy the volunteer experience in a different environment. Help A Poor Child will be only too pleased to seek much needed help from you.
Serve as a Committee Member or Helper
If you have Administration, Accounting, Social, Editorial, Fund-Raising, Promotional & Marketing skills, Help A Poor Child is desperate to hear from volunteers..
Outdoor Projects
Every year the charity puts up a stall at various summer festivals. Help is needed for volunteers to erect and set-up the stall and man the stall. The Charity also needs help with Office, Stores & Street collection programme.
Distribution Of Promotional Leaflets
Volunteers are required for the distribution of the charity's promotional literature at various events.
The Gala Ball
The annual Gala Ball requires help through the year, to help stage the event, promote it and volunteers to help with Ticket Sales, act as Stewards, Raffle Ticket sales, etc.
